Nollywood star opens up on Unrequited feelings for Emeka Ike

Having unrequited feelings for someone can be a tough thing, and for Nollywood actress, Ebube Nwagbo is one of those people who find such instances relatable, especially when it concerns Nollywood veteran Emeka Ike.

The Nollywood veteran and former Actor’s Guild of Nigeria president recently opened up about facing depression following the crash of his marriage and loss of his property investments.

Emeka Ike who is set to return to the screen in Toyin Abraham’s latest film, ‘Malaika’, was on the trend after revealing some private details of his life, and of course, it wasn’t long for the internet to jump on the train.

For fellow Nollywood actor, Ebube Nwagbo, it was about sharing her thoughts on what could have been if she had been allowed to express her feelings for the Nollywood veteran.

“I had a crush on Emeka Ike but wasn’t given the opportunity to express my feelings,” she said to QEDNG on the red carpet of the movie premiere that held at Imax Cinema in Lagos.

Ebube Nwagbo goes on to celebrate the actor’s return to the screen after his notable long term absence.

Emeka Ike aside his marriage crash, at one point faced controversial crisis within the Actor’s Guid of Nigeria set up, leading to his removal from the role in 2017.
