The Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, has urged the Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to write his acceptance speech as the president-elect immediately.

Sirika also suggested that the speech should be kept short so that his supporters can sleep early.

In a tweet via his Twitter handle on Monday, the minister advised Tinubu to write his acceptance speech despite the ongoing announcement of the presidential election results. He said, “Notwithstanding the irritation in Lagos, Osun, Kano, Katsina, Yobe, Gombe, and a couple of others, ‘President-elect’ Sen Bola Ahmed Tinubu should write his acceptance speech now. But your Excellency, please make it short, we will sleep early tonight. ‘Zero tension’. Alhamdulillah.”

It is essential to note that the announcement of the results of the presidential election is ongoing. While some political analysts predict a tight race between the APC and the opposition party, others believe that the APC will emerge victorious.

As young Nigerians, it is crucial to remain calm and patient as the election results are being announced. It is also important to avoid any actions or statements that may incite violence or disrupt the peace of the country. The democratic process must be allowed to run its course, and the will of the people must be respected.

In conclusion, the call by the Minister of Aviation for Tinubu to write his acceptance speech may be premature, as the announcement of the presidential election results is still ongoing. Nevertheless, it is essential to prioritize peace and avoid any actions or statements that may incite violence. As Nigerians, we must continue to promote peaceful elections and hold our leaders accountable to their promises.
