What Lionel Messi Is Saying Ahead Of World Cup Final

Lionel Messi recently labeled the Qatar world cup tournament as the best he has ever played in, and it definitely could be just that or go one step further to help cement his place in history should his Argentina team prove victorious at the final.

Ahead of the world cup final and after securing victory against Croatia in the semi-final, Lionel Messi, the captain of Argentina, has expressed his belief that his team would compete for and ultimately win the 2022 World Cup.

Messi was speaking following Tuesday night’s victory over Croatia in a 3-0 rout.

The 35-year-old scored a penalty and then assisted Julian Alvarez twice to lead his team to a 3-0 victory in their semifinal match.

Lionel Messi will play in his second World Cup final game and might call it quits on his international career after the competition.

“The entire World Cup was incredible, what we experienced and now we are going for the last match, which is what we wanted. We have been through tough situations, other very good ones.

“Today, we are living something spectacular. I’m enjoying it with all of these people and all the Argentines that are in our country. I imagine it has to be crazy,” Messi said.
