Fabregas’ wife debunks Lionel Messi rumor

Daniella Semaan, the wife of former Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas, has refuted claims originating from a Brazilian outlet, Direto Do Miolo, alleging that Lionel Messi had been unfaithful to his wife, Antonella Roccuzzo.

The report, published by Direto Do Miolo on Friday, asserted that Messi and Roccuzzo’s 15-year relationship was undergoing its most severe challenge yet. It alleged that the eight-time Ballon d’Or winner had engaged in an affair with Argentine journalist Sofia Martinez, suggesting their marriage was on the brink of turmoil.

Denying the report, Semaan, who frequently accompanies Messi’s family on vacations, took to Instagram to dismiss the allegations, questioning the credibility of the publication. In response to a post, she remarked,

“What publication is this that has no meaning… and has nothing right.”

Messi and Roccuzzo exchanged vows in 2017 and are parents to three sons, forming a closely-knit family unit. The couple’s relationship has been a subject of public interest due to Messi’s prominence in the footballing world and their longstanding history together.
