Sergio Ramos stops post-match interview to 'attack' fan

Following Sevilla’s 2-0 loss to Athletic Bilbao, Sergio Ramos interrupted his post-match interview to engage in a heated exchange with a supporter in the stands, reflecting the growing frustrations within the club amid a challenging season.

Sevilla suffered their ninth La Liga defeat under manager Quique Sanchez Flores, currently occupying the 16th position in the table, a departure from their usual standards.

Sergio Ramos, who rejoined his childhood club over the summer after departing Paris Saint-Germain as a free agent, has experienced the team’s struggles firsthand.

In an earlier interview discussing his return to Sevilla, Sergio Ramos expressed his emotional connection to the club, citing a sense of obligation to honor his family’s legacy and return to his roots.

“I believe that it was not only a debt owed to myself, but also to my family, to my grandfather who made me a Sevillista when I was young, my father,” he stated.

However, post-match, while speaking to DAZN, Ramos faced criticism from a Sevilla supporter regarding the team’s poor performance. The passionate defender momentarily halted the interview to address the fan, visibly frustrated with the team’s predicament.

Ramos gestured emphatically and voiced his discontent, asserting, “Have a little respect, people are talking here! Have a little respect for the people and the badge. Shut up and go!”
