Premier League Predictions For The Weekend

It is being reported by The Athletic that the English Football Association played a role in protecting a premier league manager who was involved in gambling football games.

In the report shared by sports journalist and transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, it is said that the manager’s identity is being hidden courtesy of a court ruling preventing the release of the manager’s name to the media.

This is stated to have occurred at the same time Ivan Toney and a few others were under investigation and being punished by the league.

“The FA is refusing to say why”, The Athletic reports.

Brentford striker, Ivan Toney had seen himself become the poster child of a gambling scandal in the last months after investigations revealed a series of betting breaches by the Englishman.

While Toney faces suspension, the unidentified manager enjoys the anonymity provided courtesy of a court ruling.
