Brentford vs. Manchester United: Confirmed Lineup

Manchester United end the Saturday premier league weekend with a trip to London to face a very familiar foe in Brentford.

A match with some grudge you would say, but for the Red Devils, other narratives would be put aside to focus on what matters; the 3-points needed to push forward for a top 4 finish come end of the season.

Sitting in 6th spot currently and with 10 points adrift a 4th place finish, Manchester United will be hopeful of doing the impossible if they can manage to win all their upcoming league games, starting with Brentford.

However, the Bees have something they too are chasing, or perhaps running away from; the threat of relegation, and if they hope to remain in the premier league beyond this season, risking any more points from here on out, would be their undoing.

That said, it doesn’t change what the narratives are; Manchester United based on their name, and judging from the poor form Brentford are on, remain the favorites to steal something from the tie.

But that is all on paper though. What matters is what the team lining up will bring to the field of play.
