Nemanja Matic faults Pogba, Sancho for Man United’s problems

Matic disclosed that prominent figures like Paul Pogba and Jadon Sancho, among others, were recurrently tardy for training sessions, prompting a group of punctual players to take matters into their own hands. Feeling disgruntled by the lack of adherence to schedules, they established an internal disciplinary committee, with Matic at its helm.

To enforce accountability, Matic initiated a system where late arrivals were documented on a publicly displayed sheet, leading to the imposition of fines. Astonishingly, the fines accumulated to a substantial sum, totaling around £75,000 over the course of a season.

“At Chelsea all the players acted professionally, they were punctual and were never late for training but at Manchester United, it happened almost every day”

“The rest of us who were always on time were angry so we decided to form a kind of an internal disciplinary committee with me serving as its president”
