They Don’t Care, They Have Things Too Easy---CR7 Blasts Youngsters

For CR7, the disparity in mentality between the modern day footballers and those of the past generation is gap too wide as he reveals the lack of mentality in the present generation to develop higher or listen to advice from older professionals.

CR7 in his interview with Piers Morgan notes the nonchalant attitude present in the modern day stars not only at Manchester United but in every club, as he highlights how difficult it would be for any of them to maintain the longevity he has in the game.

The Manchester United forward went on to identify a teammate he believes can duplicate said longevity in football amongst the present crop of players.

Young Red Devils players weren’t free from Ronaldo’s criticism as he criticized their attitude, saying they treatment of training was like they didn’t care enough about the team and didn’t bother to take his counsel even when he gave them.

The Portugal captain admitted that he is not adept at offering counsel but instead sets an example for others to follow, which unsurprisingly the stars don’t.

Ronaldo claimed that he is always the first person at training every morning and expressed uncertainty that the other players will stick with football for very long if they don’t follow him.

“They don’t care. Some ones yes, but most of them, no. To me it is not surprising. They are not going to have longevity in their careers,” he said.

“In Manchester United I can mention Dalot, he’s young, but very professional and I don’t doubt that he’s going to have longevity in football because he’s young, he’s smart, intelligent and he’s very professional,” Ronaldo added.
