PSG ready to report Real Madrid to FIFA over Mbappe Saga

Paris Saint-Germain versus Real Madrid may soon develop into one hot rivalry that football fans never saw coming in few years to come as their feud over Kylian Mbappe continues.

The Ligue 1 club is said to be planning to report the La Liga giants to the global football body, FIFA over what they deem a potential illegal tapping up of Kylian Mbappe, as per reports by the UK Telegraph reports.

Judging from the story so far, the former Monaco man is reportedly unwilling to trigger the contract extension clause in his Paris Saint-Germain contract beyond June 2024 on the believe that Mbappe already has an agreement with Real Madrid.

The extension clause that exists between Kylian Mbappe and Paris Saint-Germain expired on July 31.

If issues aren’t resolved between Mbappe and the Ligue 1 side in terms of contract dispute, the Frenchman becomes a free agent in the summer of 2024, and could potentially be free to negotiate contract with any club in January.

Real Madrid according to Paris Saint-Germain, have a deal in play that sees Kylian Mbappe pocket a €160million signing on fee if he joins the LaLiga giants.

According to FIFA rules, such agreements are banned as it requires a player to have been approached without the knowledge of the player’s current employers who should categorically be sought first.
