Nigerians react as Diamond Platnumz shades Wizkid and Burna Boy

Nigerians have reacted after Tanzanian singer, Diamond Platnumz ridiculed Nigerian singers, Wizkid and Burna Boy.

The musician, Nasibu Abdul Juma Issack, popularly known as Diamond Platnumz took to sociall media while boasting about his achievement, shaded Grammy winners, Wizkid and Burna Boy in a post.

The Tanzanian singer took to a post to brag about how he became the first sub-Saharan artist with more than 1 billion video views in 2020.

He, however, went on to ridicule Davido, Burna Boy, and Wizkid by attributing their success in the music industry to foreign artists.

According to him, American artist, Drake was the one who boosted Wizkid’s music career while American rapper P-Diddy guided and brought Burna Boy into the limelight.

“In 2020, he became the first Sub-saharan artist with more than 1 billion video views, leaping ahead of such stars as Davido, Drake-boosted Wizkid and P-Diddy protege Burna Boy”

This of course did t go well with Nigerians. Like the case of Burna Boy and Shatta Wale, Nigerians took to social media to call out the Tanzanian singer for altering such a statement.
