Luis Suarez blocked from Messi reunion at Inter Miami

A rain in Luis Suarez’ parade.

Talk about Gremio ruining the parade for what would have been an old school reunion between friends at Inter Miami as Luis Suarez is reported to be stopped from making any move to the Major League Soccer this summer.

The report comes courtesy of ESPN following speculations of Luis Suarez making a summer move to rejoin Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba who have all linked up at the MLS side.

Inter Miami have been pushing to reunite the Uruguayan with Messi before the summer transfer window shuts on August 2, with rumors even suggesting that Luis Suarez was ready to buy out his contract with Gremio to make the reunion possible.

The Brazilian side however have made it known to the former Barcelona man that his services will be required by the club till his contract expires in December 2024.

A Barcelona reunion it seems for the MLS side who have former Barca players Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba all donning the now famous pink jersey for the American side.

They are managed by ex-Barcelona boss Gerardo ‘Tata’ Martino.
