Jordan Henderson to end Liverpool career today

Jordan Henderson bids farewell to his Liverpool career today as he sets to sign his contract with Steven Gerrard’s Al Ettifaq.

Gather your tissues Liverpool fans, Jordan Henderson to bid Liverpool an official farewell today as he gets ready to sign his contract as new Al Ettifaq player.

The transfer drama had been on for a few weeks with the confirmation coming courtesy of Italian sports journalist, Fabrizio Romano on his social media handle.

According to Romano, documents are being signed for a three year deal as Jordan Henderson is in Croatia with his representatives in order to fast track the deal.

Liverpool are set to receive £12m fee plus add ons as the deal is officially agreed.
Official statement by the club is expected later this week as Liverpool continues to fast track a move for Roméo Lavia.
