Go to Real Madrid -- Spiderman actor, Tom Holland to Harry Kane

Tom Holland opens up about his love for football and frustrations as a Tottenham Hotspur fan.

Renowned actor Tom Holland, best known for his portrayal of Spider-Man, recently revealed his deep affection for football and his unwavering support for English club Tottenham Hotspur. In an interview, Holland discussed the challenges of being a fan of the underperforming North London side and shared his thoughts on resilience and supporting the team.

Comparing the experience of supporting Tottenham to being in a crowded room, Holland acknowledged that being a Spurs fan requires immense patience and resilience. He highlighted the fact that Tottenham has never won a major trophy, making it incredibly challenging to stand by the team.

“Being a Tottenham fan is like being in a crowded room. It has taught me resilience. You know Tottenham has never won anything and supporting them is incredibly difficult.”

Despite the difficulties, Holland expressed his unwavering support for the club.

“And you know, it’s no secret that my show has been so horribly reviewed, but I’m here today to promote the show and I’m still here. So I am very resilient.” Holland said, going on to joke, “Resiliency is a good quality in a new employee.”

The actor further reflected on the importance of resilience in his own life, drawing a parallel between supporting Tottenham and dealing with criticism of his recent show, “The Crowded Room.” Holland shared that although the series received negative reviews, he remains determined to promote it, showcasing his own resilience in the face of adversity.
