Expect more exits from Barcelona—Xavi Confides

Xavi confides about potential exits from Barcelona ahead of the season starting while explaining Lewandowski’s poor form in pre-season.

If there has been a club that has done wonders in the summer transfer window this season that has come as nothing but a surprise to many, it has to be Barcelona.

Barcelona have been able to carry out deals, hijack transfer targets even bearing in mind their financial situations and all.

But there is going to be downside to it at the end of the day which according to Manager, Xavi Hernandez will be coming very soon as he confirms there will be numerous exits ahead of the window getting shut.

Xavi confides while speaking on the perceived goal drought of Robert Lewandowski in the pre-season fixtures after joining from Bayern Munich.

The Catalans concluded their tour of the United States on Saturday after overcoming New York Red Bulls on a 2-0 score line.

After forcing through the move to Barcelona, the Poland international, Robert Lewandowski has been unable to see the back of the net in pre-season, and for Xavi, it spells no worry for him.

Xavi Hernandez while speaking, said:

“He has been scoring in training, as the ball was going in yesterday and then today it didn’t, but it’s normal,

“The same thing also happened with Luis Suarez or Ferran Torres when they arrived.” The manager defended.

“He is going to score goals, even though he brings much more than goals.

“I think Raphinha will help us a lot too, as he is a spectacular signing for this season and future ones.”

Explaining Barcelona’s transfer window and whether more new signings will emerge after the deals completed in the window, Xavi confides:

“I don’t [know] if there will be more, it all depends on the financial fair play and the finances.

“There will be exits and I’ve been clear about that.”
