Bayern Munich versus Arsenal is another Champions League night for both sides to either deviate from their shared history in the tournament or relive it one more time. And when it comes to history, the visitors head into tonight’s tie with a lot of worries on their mind.

Though they sit level on tie at 2-2, the Allianz Arena for Bayern Munich still stands a haunting ground for Arsenal who will remember their last visit there a lot less fondly.

It was a 5-1 rout from a ruthless Bavarian side of old whose dreams at the ground was nightmare for the Gunners.

With this being Mikel Arteta’s side’s first venture since exiting the competition in 2017, a lot falls on Arsenal to prove a point against a Bayern Munich team that stands as the weakest it has ever being.
