Carlo Ancelotti against David de Gea move to Real Madrid

Real Madrid manager, Carlo Ancelotti is reportedly against the signing of former Manchester United goalkeeper, David de Gea at the club despite Thibaut Courtois’ injury in training.

In an unexpected transfer saga, the Spanish club have been forced into delving to the transfer market for a replacement for Courtois following his ACL injury that was reported on Thursday.

The former Chelsea player is set to undergo surgery and is expected to miss the most of the club’s 2023/24 campaign.

In a report by Cadena COPE, David de Gea is reported to have been considered by Real Madrid’s hierarchy but the manager, Carlo Ancelotti stands against the signing of David de Gea despite the player being a free agent.

The former Manchester United goalie still is without a club following an untimely exit from Old Trafford after contract standoffs with the club.

The 32-year-old was replaced by new summer signing, Andre Onana at Old Trafford.
