A deal has been agreed with Brighton -- Klopp confirms on Caicedo

Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp has today confirmed that a move for Moises Caicedo has been agreed on between the club and Brighton and Hove Albion.

However, the German fails to confirm if the player and his agents are on board with the move for to Liverpool as he was questioned on the transfer of Moises Caicedo to Liverpool in his pre-match conference ahead of the Chelsea game.

“I can confirm the deal is agreed with Brighton — with the player and agents, we will have to see,” the former Borussia Dortmund boss said.

He also refuses to confirm if medicals for the player will take place as reported today.

“Medical today for Moisés? I can’t tell you, I don’t know — we will see. The club have really stretched it”.

Chelsea spent the night trying to find a way to return in negotiations for the Ecuadorian while Liverpool prepared contracts to be signed and also booked medical tests to nab the player before Chelsea swooped into the conversation again.

On the club being able to pull off the transfer, the German manager said;

“We give it a go and the club have really stretched it to be honest,”
