The colloquium’s theme is, ‘Our Common Bond, Our Common Wealth: The Imperative Of National Cohesion For Growth And Prosperity’.

Other prominent personalities which include the Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, governors, senators, ministers, political leaders, and federal lawmakers, among others, will attend the virtual event.

The event, an annual high-powered policy roundtable, the 12th in the series of the Bola Tinubu Colloquium, will hold virtually on Monday, March 29, 2021.

The relationship between Tinubu and Buhari has been a topic of public dialogue lately, particularly as the 2023 presidential election draws nearer.

There were rumours by the political analysts about the presidential ambition of the former governor of Lagos State but chieftains in the South-West strongly believe that President Buhari will not hand over power to Tinubu.

The Tinubu Colloquium established in 1999 by close friends and associates of Tinubu, who felt that some affluent and inspiring, intelligent debates that distinguished some of the meetings at which he chaired should be converted to a platform that would increase the discussion and lead to substantial results.

It was conceived to be a platform to share knowledge, experience, and information around socio-economic and governance issues.

The colloquium united shareholders, which include policymakers, academics, members of Civil Society Organisations and Nigerian citizens to recount our own distinctive story of what it means for the government to function as a social financier in the lives and the future of its populaces.

The last edition was held in 2019 in Abuja which focused on the theme called, ‘Next Level: Work for People.’
