President Muhammadu Buhari, on Monday, received a former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Dimeji Bankole; and a previous Governor of Ogun State, Gbenga Daniel, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The two political figures, whose origins are from Ogun State, lately joined the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
The two of them held their previous offices on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
They were directed to the meeting with the President by the Chairman, Caretaker Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee of the APC and Governor of Yobe, Mai Mala Buni; Governors of Jigawa State, Mohammed Badaru and Kebbi, Atiku Bagudu.
