“You don’t deserve that” — Piers Morgan to Victor Osimhen

Whether Serie A club, Napoli would want to admit it or not, Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen is a wanted man and for British TV personality, Piers Morgan, the Nigerian would just about do it for Arsenal if he decides to leave Naples.

Controversy swayed the way of the internet on Tuesday when a TikTok video emerged of the club’s social media handle making a mockery of the Nigerian international after his penalty miss in their weekend fixture versus Bologna.

In a video short that took a life of its own, many social media users kicked against it, with the likes of Fabrizio Romano reporting on the clip, while Osimhen’s representative threatened legal actions.

Victor Osimhen also wasn’t left out of reacting to the diss clip as he quickly removed every video associating him with Napoli from his social media handle.

Commenting on the situation, the British media personality condemned the video on his social media handle, but also took it upon himself to cajole the former Lille star to consider a move away from Napoli and for the Emirates.

According to Piers Morgan, Victor Osimhen does not deserve the treatment just because he failed to convert a spotkick for the Serie A side.

“Don’t take this terrible treatment @victorosimhen9 – come to Arsenal instead,” Morgan wrote on X.

Victor Osimhen was a subject of interest from Saudi Arabia prior to the start of the season, with a Saudi Pro League club reportedly tabling a lucrative offer for the Nigerian before the transfer window was closed.

There are also rumors that Real Madrid are considering a move for the striker as a Karim Benzema replacement. This all could come into play if Napoli decides to let the Nigerian leave in January as legal suit is set to be filed by Victor Osimhen’s legal team.
