YCee Lambast Wizkid As Throwback Rap Video Surfaces
Nigerian rapper, YCee has tackled Wizkid following the resurfacing of the latter’s throwback rap video.
Recall that During an interview, Wizkid broke-shamed rappers following his declaration that the rap genre is dead and boring.
In reaction to his, YCee stated that the Grammy award singer made such a statement because he is a failed rapper.
As the video of Wizzy’s rap episode in his career goes viral, YCee wrote;
“This thing wey Wiz Dey do no make sense. Rappers work so hard in an industry that doesn’t even favor them. No funding. No support. No nothing. And you wanna make fun of that? Nah G That is not it,” he wrote.
Giving instances of how rap made a huge impact on internet trends, YCee said
“Kizz daniels Fvck you challenge- Rappers made that thing pop. Mayorkuns geng challenge Rappers made that thing pop. Anything challenge na rappers Dey do due diligence. Like what the fuck is all this rubbish?
He added
Failed rappers always have the most to say about the genre sha,”
