What gets you a Harry Kane -- Simon Jordan to Bayern Munich

Daniel Levy might be a shrewd businessman who doesn’t budge easily but that doesn’t mean he cannot be tested according to former Crystal Palace owner, Simon Jordan regarding the Harry Kane to Bayern Munich saga.

In a bid to secure the services of Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane this summer, Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich have been advised by former Crystal Palace owner, Simon Jordan, to raise their offer to approximately £80 million.

Reports indicate that Bayern Munich had previously seen their initial bid of £60 million turned down by Spurs, but they remain determined to bring the English forward to the Allianz Arena.

According to German publication Bild, Kane has allegedly reached “an agreement in principle” with Bayern Munich regarding a potential summer transfer.

Despite Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy’s firm stance on retaining the talismanic striker, it is understood that Kane himself is keen on the move, having reportedly sorted out personal terms with the German giants through negotiations facilitated by his father and brother.

Reacting to news of Bayern Munich’s £60 million bid for the Tottenham striker, Simon Jordan expressed his thoughts during an appearance on talkSPORT.

“I think £60 million starts a conversation,” Jordan commented, highlighting the significance of the initial offer.

However, he suggested that Bayern Munich should further test Daniel Levy’s resolve by increasing their bid to £80 million.

Jordan emphasized that Tottenham finds itself in a precarious situation, unable to allow this transfer saga to continue indefinitely. With Bayern Munich’s interest in Harry Kane evident and the player’s apparent openness to the move, Levy and the club may face mounting pressure to reach a resolution.

The former Crystal Palace owner believes that a higher bid from Bayern Munich could significantly challenge Levy’s determination to retain Kane’s services.

The potential transfer of Harry Kane to Bayern Munich would undoubtedly be a high-profile move, marking a significant change for the prolific striker who has spent his entire professional career at Tottenham Hotspur.

As negotiations continue and with the transfer window in full swing, the football world eagerly awaits further developments regarding this highly anticipated transfer saga.
