"Turn yourself in, explain later" -- Tonto Dikeh to Naira Marley

A clear conscience they say fears no guilt, after all.

A tale of “Why be so scared if you have nothing to hide” as Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh shades under fire Nigerian artiste, Naira Marley on his innocent plea towards the death of Mohbad.

The Nollywood actress turned politician responded to the recent statement made by Naira Marley, denying any involvement in the controversial death of former signee, Mohbad, and called on him to return home to clear his name.

Naira Marley, who is currently abroad, released a statement on Tuesday expressing shock at the allegations surrounding Mohbad’s demise. The singer categorically denied any responsibility for the 27-year-old’s death.

In reaction to Naira Marley’s statement, Tonto Dikeh has urged the artist to come back to Nigeria and address the allegations against him if he genuinely seeks to prove his innocence.

She emphasized that she and others involved in seeking justice for the late singer would not relent until those responsible for the alleged crimes against Mohbad are brought to justice.

Tonto Dikeh stated,

“Naira, turn yourself in first and explain later. You and Sam Larry cannot escape accountability for this.

“This is not a fictional movie where you can create a smoke screen and make us forget about all the pain, beatings, assaults, mugging, injuries, humiliation, bullying, oppression, intimidation, physical and mental trauma that you, Sam Larry, and others brought upon General Mohbad.”

She continued,

“The law will take its course, and you will not go unpunished. No matter how much you try to deceive, the world is now aware of your actions and those of your associates.

“We will not rest until you are apprehended and prosecuted for all the atrocities committed against your fellow human being, General Mohbad. You are a very bad boy, and you need to be held accountable.”
