Samklef opens up, spills more details between Wizkid and Banky W [Video]
Popular Nigerian music producer, Samklef, has opened up as regards the past rift between music stars, Banky W and Wizkid.
Samklef, in a video, recounted the story that lead to the sour relationship between former EME signee, Wizkid and EME boss, Banky W.
Samklef hinted that Wizzy left Banky W’s record label with anger after the latter tried to control him.
The music producer noted that Wizkid had already attained fame when Banky wanted to start controlling him, but it seemed difficult for Banky to do so.
Explaining further, Samklef recalled when the EME record label boss ordered the ace singer to remove his name from the but song, Pakurumo, of which Wizkid revolted, thus disrespecting Banky W.
This is coming after a new interview went viral of Banky saying he was displeased Wizkid didn’t attend his wedding, and also owe him three more songs before he left the record label, according to a signed contract.
Making the claims in a viral video, Samklef said: “Banky wanted to start controlling Wizkid, but Wizkid don already blow. How you wan control pikin wey don already blow? You cannot control a child that wants to fly, sotey Banky tell Wizkid make he comot my name for Pakurumo song for my presence! Disrespected me, but Wizkid no gree.
“That’s to tell you i’m talking about the control. Wizkid don already know sey this guy wan dey control am”
