"Not good enough for Manchester United" -- Alan Shearer

Manchester United clinched their spot in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup after a hard-fought 1-0 triumph against Nottingham Forest on Wednesday evening.

The decisive moment arrived in the 89th minute at the City Ground when Casemiro found the back of the net, securing victory for the visiting team.

However, despite the positive result, criticism was directed towards Antony for his subdued performance throughout the match. Alan Shearer, a former England and Premier League striker, didn’t mince his words as he expressed disappointment with Antony’s contribution.

Speaking to the BBC, Shearer remarked, “He might be disappointed he’s coming off but he hasn’t done anywhere near enough to warrant staying on the pitch tonight. It’s not enough when you cost that much money.”

Since his signing by Manchester United, the Brazilian has faced a lot of criticism based on his performances, with Antony failing to live up to his price tag from Ajax.
