“I sold one of my organs to pay my wife’s brideprice” – Lasisi Elenu (Video)
Well-known Nigerian comedian Lasisi Elenu has revealed how he had to sell one of his organs for his beautiful wife.

Taking to his IG page, he decided to reveal how he got married to an Igbo woman named Nonso. He also took the opportunity to reveal the spice in intertribal marriages.
Lasisi revealed that one major sign that he is married to an Igbo woman is that he has to pay an exorbitant amount of bride price to get married to her.
In his words he stated, “I married an Igbo woman from Mabise, I had to sell one of my organs to pay her bride price”.
His wife, equally humorously contributed to the banter by highlighting a common trait of Yoruba men – their love for using iru (locust beans) in cooking.
“Of course I’m married to a Yoruba man, I use iru to cook everything even eggs”, she said.
