Ex-Spurs player to Quit Twitter If Arsenal Signs Raphinha

Ex-Tottenham Player threatens to quit Social Media if Arsenal signs Raphinha

The North-London derby is quite the fierce one; a derby that has seen no love between Tottenham and Arsenal, with both sides continually bitter and frightful of dominance from the other.

It hasn’t left ex-players out of the conversations though, as from time to time, we see them continually make jibes of the other or show genuine concern when one side attempts to get it right.

In this case, it is the latter, as former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder, Jamie O’Hara has shown genuine fear over the potential signing of Brazilian, Raphinha by Arsenal.

The ex-Spurs midfielder revealed that should Arsenal make good their attempts of signing Raphinha from Premier League club, Leeds United, he would see no reason being on Twitter.

Arsenal have been strongly linked with a move for the 25-year-old winger, and O’Hara who has been impressed by Arsenal’s transfer activity so far, especially with the signing of Gabriel Jesus, he believes the North London rivals, could become genuine threats next season.

While speaking with talkSport, the 35-year-old, praised Arsenal’s capture of Gabriel Jesus.

“Gabriel Jesus would be a top signing,” he said.

“I have always been impressed by him. And if they get Raphinha as well, then I might delete Twitter.”

Raphinha along with Kalvin Philips emerged as one of the key players at Leeds, especially in Raphinha’s case since joining the club from Rennes in 2020.

The Brazil international has scored 17 goals and provided 11 assists in 66 matches in all competitions for Leeds.
