Champions League Round of 16 draw surfaces

The UEFA Champions League round of 16 draw is out following the conclusion of the group stages that saw the elimination of some high profile hitters from the competition last week.

As Europe’s most elite club tournament is set for a return in the new year, it promises yet again some interesting showdowns between Europe’s top clubs who qualified for the preliminary knockout stage.

Premier League club, Arsenal is set to take on Porto on return to Champions League action.

Dutch club, PSV Eindhoven is set to take on German side, Borussia Dortmund.

As for French Ligue 1 side, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), they engage in hostilities with La Liga side, Real Sociedad.

Real Madrid face the task of eliminating RB Leipzig if fortunes favor them on the night.

For Manchester City, they face the flare of Danish side, FC Copenhagen who was guilty of eliminating City’s neighbors, Manchester United from the group stage.

Inter Milan will take on Atletico Madrid while fellow La Liga side, Barcelona face the task of eliminating Serie A side, Napoli; a very familiar foe.
