Barcelona to sell off 3 stars in the summer

Barcelona is reportedly looking to sell three of their top players this summer to revive their struggling attack for the upcoming season. According to the Spanish publication Sport, the Catalan club is willing to part ways with Raphinha, Ferran Torres, and Ansu Fati.

Ansu Fati, who has been on the radar of several top European clubs, including Manchester United, has been in talks with Barcelona for some time now. The 20-year-old forward has had an injury-ridden season, but he is still considered one of the most promising talents in Europe.

Catalan media reports that FC Barcelona are ready to sell their misfiring wingers.

Raphinha, who was signed by Barcelona from Leeds United last summer, is another player that the Catalan club is willing to let go of. The Brazilian international has been a standout performer for Barcelona this season, contributing with nine goals and nine assists in 39 games. Chelsea has reportedly expressed interest in signing the winger.

Meanwhile, Ferran Torres, who joined Barcelona from Manchester City last summer for a fee of €55 million, has had a mixed season. The 23-year-old forward has scored just six goals and provided two assists in 36 appearances for Xavi Hernandez’s side. He is reportedly being targeted by Atletico Madrid and Inter Milan.

Barcelona is hoping to use the funds generated from these sales to bring in new attacking options to complement Lionel Messi, who has been the team’s main source of goals this season. The Catalan club is expected to be active in the upcoming transfer window, with Xavi keen to rebuild the team and mount a serious challenge for the La Liga title next season.
