Former Anambra governor, Peter Obi, has said he is contesting for the interest of younger generations and unborn citizens.

The PDP aspirant said this as his reason for wanting to contest the 2023 election.

He said he is ready to salvage the country from her current economic situation which holds no future for the unborn generations.

Obi revealed this during his meeting with party delegates at the PDP State Secretariat, Umuahia, Abia State, on Thursday.

He said, “I want to make Nigeria become productive and not be a consuming country, that is the message behind my aspiration.

“My delegates, the tomorrow begins today for our children. So, if you mortgage your conscience during the presidential primary, then you should know that you have mortgaged your children’s future.

“If they give you money collect but remember that any mistake you made by selling your conscience is placing your children in further bondage.”
