Stop moaning and play the ball -- World Cup winner slams Mbappe

Kylian Saint-Germain might be another name for French club, Paris Saint-Germain, but for Kylian Mbappe, he recognizes how infuriating the words are specifically when it has his name being the face of the club. However, a former World Cup winner, Christophe Dugarry could care less about his feelings and instead wants the star to focus on his job.

The French international and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) striker, Kylian Mbappe came under fire from fellow World Cup winner Christophe Dugarry for his public airing of grievances regarding a season ticket promotional video.

Kylian Mbappe expressed his disappointment on social media at being the face of the campaign without prior warning, leading to the production being taken down. Dugarry has slammed Mbappe’s reaction, saying he should “stop all of the ego” and not try to control everything at the club.

Dugarry also suggested that Mbappe should have addressed the issue internally, calling his message on social media “clumsy” and “not elegant”.

The former French international further urged Mbappe to focus on playing football and let the club handle the marketing and communication aspects.

Mbappe’s Instagram post stated that he was not informed of the content of the interview and did not approve of the published video, asserting his right to his individual image. PSG has yet to comment on the matter.

Mbappe has been a standout performer for the club since his move from Monaco in 2017, scoring 118 goals in 153 appearances and helping PSG to three Ligue 1 titles.
