“Naija no dey carry last” – Nicki Minaj goes all out, set plans to tour Nigeria

Nicki Minaj, a Trinidad-born American hip hop artist, has expressed a wish to come and tour Nigeria.

Nicki created a frenzy among her fans when she announced on social media that she is expanding her globe tour to the most populated African country.

It all started when a Nigerian fan expressed disappointment over the absence of Africa from her previously announced tour dates, and the Grammy-nominated performer responded by saying she would consider incorporating Nigeria if enough fans expressed interest.

The fan @RamatVictory shared screenshots of the tour venues and wrote: “Once again, African barbz [Nick Minaj’s fans] bite dust. Oh well.”

Nicki Minaj then replied; “Abeg, sign up where it says (if you don’t see your city) so that when I get to Africa, your city/country will be there.”

Elated by the response, the fan wrote under the rapper’s comment: “Abeg no vex Nicki, I no go complain again. Oya Naija barbz, make una go sign up sharp, sharp.”

Nicki added; “Naija no de carry last.”
