Moises Caicedo wants Chelsea not Liverpool

Talk about a transfer dilemma, then you have the Moises Caicedo saga that is being played out between Chelsea and Liverpool ahead of their premier league opener on Sunday.

The Ecuadorian is said to have communicated his desire to Liverpool despite the Reds’ massive bid earlier on Friday morning.

Moises Caicedo has verbal informed the Merseyside giants of his interest in joining Chelsea, thus sinking the £110m that was sent to Brighton for the midfielder.

The Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp already confirmed in his pre-match press conference that a deal has been agreed between both clubs, but failed to confirm if a deal was agreed on personal terms.

This puts Liverpool in a state of dilemma as the Ecuadorian has informed the club and Klopp of his decision to join the Blues despite medicals already booked at Merseyside.

The Brighton star does not intend to travel to Liverpool in the coming hours as Chelsea are expected to make another bid to rival Liverpool’s again.

An interesting transfer saga presents itself to the world and to football fans and it will be more interesting to see where Caicedo plays next this season.

Chelsea are not ready to give up hopes of signing the player and will try until the end despite Liverpool having booked medicals for the Ecuadorian.
Liverpool do not have Moises Caicedo yet and Caicedo does not want Liverpool. The drama continues, and it will make Sunday’s game even more than a grudge match.
