The Argentine who now plies his trade at Paris Saint Germain came to the young fan’s aid while security tried to prevent the supporter from getting close to him. Messi on the back of a torrid campaign last season, produced quite the sensational performance to show an improved form going into the Ligue 1 season as he opened the 4-0 scoring on Sunday. The former Barcelona man had the Nantes goalkeeper, Alban Lafont dribbled before rolling the ball past the line to put PSG ahead. Neymar was on hand to double the lead before Sergio Ramos tripled it with a back heel finish. The fixture though saw a red card as Nantes fell down to 10 men after Jean Charles Catelleto brought down Neymar jr inside the penalty box to gift a penalty and receive his marching orders afterwards. Neymar settled the scores at 4-0 with his converted penalty kick afterwards. Aside the match, it was what transcended afterwards that left an admiration amongst fans of Paris Saint Germain and Lionel Messi. After the match, a young supporter made way to reach out for a photo with Messi while the player headed down the tunnel at the Bloomfield Stadium in Tel Aviv, Israel only to be held on to by security. The supporter was pushed off the Argentine forcing Messi to stop and come to the fan’s aid. The two both took the selfie leading the online media to praise the former Barcelona star following the footage. "Messi's a great person," a fan wrote on Twitter. With another adding: "U gotta love this man."
