“I Could Have Been A Pastor Instead Of An Actress” — Tonto Dikeh (Video)
Nollywood actress cum politician, Tonto Dikeh has disclosed her initial intentions of becoming a pastor instead of ending up as an actress.
Tonto Dikeh revealed that acting happened to be an unexpected opportunity, however, her initial career path was to be a pastor.
Now the deputy governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress, ADC in Rivers state, she revealed this during an interview with media personality, Chude Jideonwo.
According to her, she had ventured into different career paths despite once being a church girl who hoped to become a pastor.
While speaking on her reason for joining politics she said;
“I’m an opportunist with this thing called acting or entertainment. But for God, he has ordained that step already. For me, I was just swimming in a swimming pool,”.
“I mean, I was a church girl going to be a pastor. I was supposed to be a pastor, I still might be. Depending on where God is taking me to,” she added.
