‘I am being scapegoated’, Manchester United winger, Jadon Sancho has hit out at his manager, Erik ten Hag over his recent comments that were quoted by the media.

In Erik ten Hag‘s recent comment regarding Sancho’s game play, the Dutchman was quoted criticizing the England international for not training at a top level.

And now, the former Borussia Dortmund star has hit out at the media and indirectly at the manager’s quoted text.

According to the Manchester United star, he has conducted himself contrary to what the manager was quoted by the press as saying.

Jadon Sancho goes further to allege he is being scapegoated for reasons he preferred not to delve into.

“Please don’t believe everything you read! I will not allow people saying things that is completely untrue”

.“I have conducted myself in training very well this week. I believe there are other reasons for this matter that I won’t go into, I’ve been a scapegoat for a long time which isn’t fair!”

The 23-year-old stressed his commitment to the team and to playing football stating;

“All I want to do is play football with a smile on my face and contribute to my team”.

“I respect all decisions that are made by the coaching staff, I play with fantastic players and grateful to do so which I know every week is a challenge”.

“I will continue to fight for this badge no matter what!”.
