Don't sell him -- Aaron Ramsey to Arsenal on Folarin Balogun

In a bid to influence Arsenal’s summer transfer decisions, former Gunners star Aaron Ramsey has stepped forward to advocate for the retention of young attacker Folarin Balogun.

Aaron Ramsey, who currently plays for Juventus, asserted that Balogun possesses the necessary skill set to thrive in the Premier League, emphasizing the American striker’s tremendous potential.

The fate of 21-year-old Balogun hangs in the balance as Arsenal ponders whether to keep or sell him during the ongoing summer transfer window.

Having recently returned from an impressive loan spell at French club Reims, where he notched an impressive 22 goals in 39 appearances across various competitions, Folarin Balogun has generated significant interest from clubs both domestically and abroad.

Speaking to the Daily Star, Ramsey shared his perspective on the young talent, drawing from personal encounters with Folarin Balogun on the pitch. The Welsh midfielder spoke highly of the exciting player’s abilities, expressing his belief that Balogun would be a valuable asset to any team.

While acknowledging Arsenal’s existing roster of talented players, Ramsey singled out Balogun’s exceptional qualities and affirmed his readiness for the challenges of top-flight English football. The former Arsenal star’s endorsement may carry weight, given his own successful stint at the club and his insight into what it takes to excel in the Premier League.

“I am not the Arsenal manager but [Folarin] Balogun’s very good,” Aaron Ramsey told the Daily Star.

“We played against him a couple of times and, from what I saw there, he is a very exciting player to have in your team.

“Arsenal have many great players but he definitely has the quality. And, yes, he is good enough for the Premier League.”

Ramsey’s statement has intensified the debate surrounding Balogun’s future at Arsenal, prompting the club’s management to carefully consider the young striker’s potential and the potential impact his departure could have on the team’s forward line.

With his goal-scoring prowess and promising performances during his loan spell, Balogun has undoubtedly impressed scouts and fans alike.

As the summer transfer window progresses, Arsenal faces a crucial decision that could shape the club’s immediate future. Balogun’s departure would undoubtedly provide a financial boost through a potential transfer fee, but it could also deprive the Gunners of an emerging talent with the ability to make a significant impact on the Premier League stage.

Arsenal fans will be eagerly awaiting the outcome of this transfer saga, hopeful that the club’s hierarchy takes Ramsey’s endorsement into account when weighing up the options for Balogun’s future.

Should the young striker remain at the Emirates Stadium, it would undoubtedly be seen as a statement of intent, signaling Arsenal’s commitment to nurturing and retaining their most promising prospects.
