Premier League Predictions for the Final Weekend

The Premier League season comes to an end deservedly on a Sunday evening, and ahead of the games, we make our last predictions for the 2023/24 campaign. And sadly for some fans, it may not go well for your respective teams if our prediction is the result that plays out.

For premier league fans, the question at the tip of everyone’s lips at the moment, is who gets to win the ultimate prize — Manchester City or Arsenal? And though the relegation spots are already confirmed, with Sheffield United and Burnley returning to the Championship next season alongside Luton Town, unless by some miracle Luton scores 19-goals and Nottingham Forest loses, there are a few more narratives on the cards for the rest of the table.

We have the European spots pertaining to 5th, 6th and 7th place still to be decided with Tottenham, Manchester United, Chelsea, Newcastle United all hunting for either of the 3 spots.

With all the games starting at the same time, we begin alphabetically with Arsenal 16:00 Everton. A win or die match for Arsenal but for Everton, a game of little consequences, but will they roll over for the Gunners?

Man City are brilliant – but there are 115 questions hanging over them

We expect some twists on the final match day of the season, and the Toffees and Sean Dyche look like the one side who could stun the premier league on the final match day of the season. TopNaija predicts this game to end in a 0-1 ironic win for Everton.

Brentford 16:00 Newcastle United will see the Magpies force out a 1-2 win away to the Bees that could see Chelsea out of the Europa League spot on goal difference if they fail to win.

Brighton and Hove Albion 16:00 Manchester United stands a tricky tie for the Red Devils and the Seagulls.

Still left to battle for Europe, Manchester United can push for Europe if they win and Newcastle United loses their game against Brentford. We predict a 2-2 draw between both teams however.

Burnley 16:00 Nottingham Forest could see a 0-2 win in favor of Forest.

Premier League tie-breakers: Every way the title and final standings could be decided if teams are level on points

Chelsea 16:00 Bournemouth seems tricky on hindsight even if the Blues owing to current form stand as favorites. We predict a 2-1 win for Chelsea to keep them at the cusp of making it to 5th spot.

Crystal Palace 16:00 Aston Villa, with nothing left to fight for, Unai Emery’s Villa will want to end the season on a high. We predict this premier league tie to end with a 1-4 win for Villa.

Liverpool 16:00 Wolverhampton Wanderers is Jurgen Klopp’s last game with the Reds and we expect some performance from Liverpool. We suspect a high scoring tie between both sides in a 5-2 thriller.

Luton Town 16:00 Fulham has little to play for unless the Hatters can score 19 past the Cottaggers and hope Forest fail to win their match against Burnley. We predict a 1-1 draw that sees Luton Town return to the Championship next season.

Manchester City 16:00 West Ham United is a game that could win Pep Guardiola and City a 4th consecutive premier league title. But is it going to be an easy ride? No. We predict a 0-0 shocking score line to leave fans on the edge of their seats.

Sheffield United 16:00 Tottenham Hotspur is perhaps a game of little importance for Spurs at the moment as finishing 5th or 6th makes no difference at the end, unless Manchester United goes on to win the FA Cup some days later. However, we predict a 1-3 win for Ange Postecoglou.

Who wins the 2023/24 premier league?

Hence, in our prediction, we have Manchester City winning the premier league thanks to Everton defeating Arsenal on the final match day of the season. It is also still possible that Arsenal can win the league on goal difference if Arsenal wins and City draws.
