Boxer, Gervonta Davis Denies Domestic Violence Accusation Upon His Arrest

American professional boxer, Gervonta Davis has spoken out concerning domestic violence issued against him by a woman.

Gervonta Davis arrested and jailed over alleged domestic violence incident, putting planned fights with Hector Luis Garcia and Ryan Garcia in jeopardy

TopNaija understands that, on Tuesday, December 27, at about 2:50 pm, the boxer, Davis was arrested on the grounds that he did, hit a woman in the face.

He was arrested in Parkland, FL, allegedly causing her an abrasion on the inside of her upper lip.

The lady can be heard telling officers in a 911 call obtained by TMZ Sports that she felt the boxer was “going to murder” her.

Davis said in a statement published from jail on Wednesday, December 28, that the battery charges brought against him are false.

The boxer who stated that he’s not a “monster’, added that the woman made the 911 call “BECUZ I WOULDNT GIVE HER MY TRUCK!”

Davis also added “I NEVER PUT MY HANDS ON MY CHILD MOTHER NOR MY F***ING DAUGHTER ARE YOU F***ING CRAZY!!”
