Anthony Martial tenders Apology for Fighting in Training

Football is very much a physical game and most times players can lose their head on the pitch due to some awkward reactions that may lead to bust ups on the field, Anthony Martial is no different to such.

The Frenchman was at the end of a poor challenge in training from Manchester United teammate, Dan Gore that provoked a negative reaction from the star.

Martial on his end has seen his career at Old Trafford plagued by freakish injuries; one which the former Sevilla player faced recently to keep him out for recent games and in turn sideline him in the France national team.

Anthony Martial, still a forward for Manchester United, has expressed regret over a training-ground altercation with club rookie Dan Gore.

The Guardian claims that Gore made a hard challenge against Martial last Wednesday during a training session at Carrington.

The international for France retaliated, but Gore stood his ground.

After the incident, Martial apologized to the 18-year-old, who had been bought from Burnley in the summer. Both players had to be pulled apart.

Martial is still working out with Manchester United despite not being chosen for the France roster for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Gore was informed by Erik ten Hag, the manager of Manchester United, that first-team players shouldn’t be overextended in practice due to the danger of injury.
