American Journalist Testifies About How Donald Trump’s Assault Had Ended Her Romantic Life

American journalist E. Jean Carroll’s has given a  testimony in court,  accusing former President Donald Trump of rape as she detailed the  harrowing assault that occurred in the mid-1990s.

According to Carroll, the assault has had a lasting impact on her life, preventing her from forming any romantic relationships or engaging in sexual activities since then.

Carroll, a well-known advice columnist and writer, filed a defamation lawsuit against Trump in 2019 after he denied her allegations, claiming that she had lied about the incident. The case was dismissed by a federal judge last year, but Carroll has continued to speak out about her experience.

In her testimony, Carroll described how Trump had attacked her in a Bergdorf Goodman dressing room in Manhattan, forcing himself on her and raping her.

She also stated that she had not reported the incident to the police at the time because she feared retribution from Trump, who was a prominent real estate mogul and public figure at the time.

Carroll’s testimony is a powerful reminder of the impact that sexual assault can have on victims, both in the short and long term.
