Insecurities in the country have gotten everyone connected to the political space of Nigeria talking, with celebrities themselves not excluded from the conversation. For political aspirants, it’s a different case entirely, as they want the public to hear their views even though actions may not be taken upon hearing them.

Nollywood actor and presidential aspirant, Yul Edochie though, has put his voice through in the topic of insecurities in Nigeria, but unlike the other narratives, he is instead criticizing the Federal Government’s lax approach to the issue threatening the country’s balance.

The actor earlier on his Twitter profile called on the federal government to pursue the perpetrators of criminal acts across the country rather than condemning the acts while playing soft politics behind scenes.

He made this known on his on a Wednesday tweet he made to fans and the general public.

According to the thespian and aspiring politician, condemning the killings alone does not solve the problem, adding that instead, more people get killed with no one apprehended.

“Dear Federal Government, It’s not enough to condemn the killings. After condemning what next? Nigerians are still being kidnapped and killed like flies. Go after these monsters. Secure your citizens,” Yul Edochie said in his tweet.
