TopNaija’s EPL Predictions For The Weekend

The English Premier League (EPL) returns for yet another weekend run of games after a week long international break. It brings football fans club excitement as the hostilities return.

Starting the match week 9 EPL fixtures are Merseyside clubs, Liverpool and Everton at Lunch time kickoff at 12:30 pm on Saturday.

Both teams will be renewing their Merseyside derby rivalry at the Red side’s home of Anfield.

Newcastle United 15:00 Crystal Palace, in our prediction, sees the Magpies coming out with a 2-1 win at Saint James’ Park.

Nottingham Forest 15:00 Luton Town, goes in favor of Forest. We predict this EPL tie to go on and force out a 3-1 win at the City Ground.

By far the biggest game of the Premier League weekend, Chelsea 17:30 Arsenal brings London neighbors into conflict. With Chelsea slowly finding its form, we are tempted to predict a draw tie at the Stamford Bridge.

Sheffield United 20:00 Manchester United, obviously sees Manchester United as favorites, and rightly so, the Red Devils will be expected to win. TopNaija predicts a 0-2 win for Manchester United away.

Sunday 22nd October sets only one fixture between Aston Villa 16:30 West Ham United, an interesting game considering where both teams are at and their goals for the season.

This tie however sees Unai Emery’s Aston Villa side sit victorious over David Moyes’ West Ham United. We predict a 3-2 win over the London side for Villa.
