Reactions as BBNaija’s Saga laments over paying N5.1M rent as a celebrity

Former Big Brother Naija ‘Shine Ya Eye’ Housemate Saga has cried out over the high house rent he has to pay because of his celebrity status.

The reality show star, in an interview, talked about the high cost and drastic change of lifestyle he had to go through after participating in the Big Brother Naija reality show.

He narrated the income changes he has experienced as he had to pay N5.1 Million rent/annum against the N200,000 he was paying before fame and how he is unable to repeat clothes over because of his celebrity status.

In seeking a solution for this, Saga ruled out the opinion of staying with his parents as that would be a sure bet to make the news headlines.

According to him, he pays as high as a hundred thousand Naira to be styled for an event and cannot repeat the clothes, and as such, he would return the clothes to the stylist.

Saga added that some of the pressure that comes with being a celebrity makes some of the ex-housemates depressed.

Reacting to the Interview, many Nigerians advise Saga to learn from his colleagues, Whitemoney, Erica, and 0zo who have shunned the pressure of celebrity status but continue to live their lives on their terms and repeat their clothes.
