Premier League Predictions for the Weekend

Premier League predictions resurfaces as we head into what is match week 28 of the English First Division this weekend.

A hot race will be beaming down this weekend, and in it, the fury already is striking. Words are being thrown about and narratives already being created.

However, the weekend begins with Manchester United 12:30 Everton on Saturday 9th March at lunch time kickoff at Old Trafford.

It promises to set the tone for what this weekend’s dance might be as both desperate teams face off to determine what their fate come May might be.

For our premier league predictions, we will predict a 2-0 win for Manchester United as they come back from 2 consecutive defeats from the previous weekends.

Following up will be Bournemouth 15:00 Sheffield United at the Vitality Stadium. With Sheffield loosing all hopes of staying in the premier league, getting something against the Cherries will come in very handy at this moment. However, things won’t be made simple for them, specifically not after conceding 6-goals last weekend to Arsenal.

We predict a 2-1 win for AFC Bournemouth to cement their spot in the mid-table.

Crystal Palace 15:00 Luton Town will be quite the interesting clash on Saturday. With Luton proving themselves as quite the formidable side, the Eagles would be wary about the boys from Kenilworth Road doing the business at the Selhurst Park.

In our premier league predictions, we will be tempted to give this tie a 2-2 draw between both teams. Of course, a result like this will stall Luton’s relegation zone escape plan.

Wolverhampton Wanderers 15:00 Fulham is an interesting profile for neutrals who want to watch a game that has less high stakes but promises to be entertaining nevertheless.

Both managers have a flair for attacking football, Gary O’Neil vs. Marco Silva. However, we predict a 2-1 win in favor of the home side.

Premier League Predictions for the Weekend

Arsenal 17:30 Brentford is either another test for the Gunners or another game for Mikel Arteta’s side to bully yet another premier league side in a row.

Brentford have shown some promise in recent games but without result. They could have taken points off Manchester City and so on, but poor finishing cost them points and has left them within and around the relegation zone so far. Will Arsenal be their victim? Or will they be their own victim?

In our premier league predictions, we will give Arsenal a 3-1 win to take the Gunners top of the league heading into Sunday.

Sunday 10th March brings along a batch of fixtures, with Aston Villa 13:00 Tottenham Hotspur contesting for a top 4 finish. Whoever wins, takes them closer to achieving those lofty dreams.

We predict a 2-3 win for Ange Postecoglou’s Spurs side at the Villa Park.

Premier League Predictions for the Weekend

Brighton and Hove Albion 14:00 Nottingham Forest follows, with both Brighton and Forest returning from their heart wrenching defeats last weekend and in mid-week.

It will be an exciting game, but Forest will be eager to take the fight to the Seagulls if it keeps them further away from the relegation zone. For our premier league predictions, we will be tempted to give Nottingham Forest a 0-2 win on the day.

West Ham United 14:00 Burnley will continue the weekend hostilities, and perhaps add more gloom to Vincent Kompany’s season. We predict a 3-0 win for West Ham.

Liverpool 15:45 Manchester City brings the storm to Anfield. And it will be a test if the Reds can hold their heads up high to await the golden sky. If at all there will be a golden sky.

In our premier league predictions, we will give this tie a 1-1 stalemate, but on the hinges, a Manchester City win could be possible in this game.

Monday 11th March will end the weekend and in turn Match week 28. It sets Chelsea 20:00 Newcastle United against each other at Stamford Bridge. We predict a 2-1 win for the Blues to end the premier league match week 28.
