Man City extend lead over Liverpool
Manchester City have thrashed Newcastle United 5-0 to extend their lead over Liverpool on Sunday night, May 8.
The Citizens unleashed their anger from the Champions League disappointment on the visitors with Sterling’s 19th minute opener.
Sterling completed a brace in the 93rd minute while Aymeric Laporte, Rodri, and Foden, extended the lead in the 38th, 61st and 90th minutes respectively.
Guardiola’s boys will now look to retain their lead over Liverpool for the remaining Premier League fixtures to claim the league title.
