Liverpool vs. Manchester City: Confirmed Lineup

The last dance between Jurgen Klopp and Pep Guardiola sets upon us as Liverpool take on Manchester City at Anfield today for what promises to be a game of thirst and hunger. A hunger game some can call this as both teams hunger for all 3 points to solidify their place in the premier league title chase.

While Manchester City head into the game sitting as the obvious favorites, the Reds of Liverpool will hold on to the confidence that its fortress, Anfield might come to their aid one more time again to rescue vital points for them against their Manchester visitors.

However, games are not written for the fairy tale ending, at least not premier league games. If there is any fairy tale ending, then its of course one born from grit and sweat, which is what this tie promises.

Jurgen Klopp is set to take on Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City’s side for what could be the last time, assuming either of the two fail to meet each other in the FA Cup. The German will be hoping for a final statement against the Spaniard for one last time in the premier league.

Can he do that? That will be a question left for the eventual final whistle.
