"Leave now before you are found out" -- Darren Bent to Ten Hag

Former Tottenham Hotspur player Darren Bent has voiced strong opinions regarding Manchester United’s manager, Erik ten Hag, suggesting that the club’s stature surpasses the Dutchman’s capabilities and advising him to consider departing Old Trafford.

Bent’s remarks follow United’s recent UEFA Champions League 1-0 defeat to Bayern Munich, which resulted in their elimination from the tournament.

The Red Devils concluded their group stage campaign at the bottom of Group A, securing only four points from six matches. Their group stage record included four losses, one draw, and a solitary victory.

During a discussion on talkSPORT, Bent expressed his skepticism about Ten Hag’s managerial prowess, stating, “Not up to it, should go.”

He further emphasized, “I don’t think he’s up to it. I think the club’s way too big for him.”

Bent’s critique underscores mounting pressure on Ten Hag as Manchester United grapple with disappointing performances, particularly their premature exit from the Champions League.
