"Humanity must prevail" -- Mohamed Salah speaks on Gaza attack

Liverpool star, Mohamed Salah has reacted to the attack on Gaza in the wake of the ongoing crisis between Israel and Palestine in retaliatory attacks that have taken place following Hamas’ attack on Israel a week ago.

The Egyptian international taking to his social media account, pleaded with World Leaders to intervene in the conflict and allow for humanitarian aid to affected people in the Gaza strip.

It was reported on Tuesday night that an attack was carried out on a hospital building in Gaza that caused the death of about 500 civilian lives while leaving countless wounded in the wreckage following the conflict.

Speaking in a video released on his social media profiles, Mohamed Salah said on the Gaza attack;

“It is not always easy to speak in times like this. There has been too much violence and too much heartbreaking brutality. The escalations in the recent weeks is unbearable to witness.

“All lives are sacred and must be protected. The violence needs to stop. Families are being torn apart. What is clear now is that humanitarian aid to Gaza must be allowed in immediately. The people there are in terrible condition.

“The scenes at the hospital last night were horrifying. The people of Gaza need food, water and medical supplies urgently.

“I am calling the world leaders to come together to prevent further slaughter of innocent souls. Humanity must prevail.” Mohamed Salah said in quote.
